St. Joseph's

Effective Saturday, July 25th the Governor of MN has directed (and Bishop Hoeppner has confirmed for the Diocese of Crookston) that masks must be worn in public indoor spaces.  That includes Churches.  From age of 6 up masks will be required to be worn in Church, unless (a) you have health issues indicating not to wear one; (b) you are performing the ministry of lector, or music, etc.

Everyone is on for providing their own masks.

Effective immediately, I've made the decision that funeral events at St. Joseph's RLF and Brooks will be limited to family members only if held in the Church.  Outdoor (e.g., graveside) services, however will remain open with a limit of 250 people, as per Executive Directives in Minnesota and Diocesan Protocols.

This will be re-evaluated once the Executive order for masks for public indoors is rescinded.

While the public indoor mask mandate is in effect, the Parish Office will maintain its published office hours, but will be available to the public with restrictions.  Namely:
1.  Masks must be worn by anyone coming into the office complex and during the duration of their time inside.
2.   A doorbell will be installed outside of the door and a person needing to get in will need to ring the doorbell, then a staff person in a mask will let you in.
3.   Safe distancing is to be carefully observed.  If meeting with a staff member, please do so in a common, open area.
3.  Sanitizing common areas and surfaces will continue.
